To manage and plan all the jobs related with Electrical equipment (Routine Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance ) studying construction drawings, issue bill of materials, checking the quantities of installed materials against the construction drawings with checking invoices, mark up drawing, as built drawings and materials control.

To manage on a huge range of electrical equipments which include motors from 0.5W up to 5MW,controlled by DSC system and PMS (power manage system), 3x40 MW fram6 generators 11 KV, Transformers, (380V, 500KW) emergency generators, 20&66 kV overhead line, Central (220&100 bar pumps) and (18 gas engine) 500/000 bbl/d water Injection, 300/000bbl/d central processing facility, 7 satellite oil and gas gathering station.
Certified as Senior authorized electrical person to issue PTW (Permit to Work) SFT (Sanction For Test), LOA (Limitation of Access) to AEP (Authorized Electrical Personnel) and other categories. Planning for shut down jobs, Assist Contractors in Equipments, Loop testing, and commissioning during Plant modification, extension and construction of new projects.

The major duties include inspection, supervision, commissioning, start up and hand over for the expansion, modification and new projects at AFPC. I’m also responsible for evaluation of existing systems and developing appropriate changes, which will aid oil production at the same time ensuring that modification is cost effective.
