I have been worked as Manager in Electro Optic Devices Department at AERO. Pioneer member of the Electro-Optics team to initiate basic research on fiber optic devices and sensors.
My Key responsibilities were
• Responsible for setting up basic fabrication and test facility for fiber optic components and modules, including sophisticated optoelectronic instruments and tools, fiber splicing and recoating equipment, environmental chambers, spectrum analyzers, etc.,Responsible for design and development of low noise preamplifier circuits for PIN detectors,Responsible for the development of drive-circuitry for laser diodes, and LEDs,Responsible for the design and development of FBT process to manufacture, 3-dB Fiber Optic Coupler, WDM Coupler (1310/1550), Tap Coupler, and Fiber Optic Attenuator for communication systems,Responsible for the design and development of Thin Film Metal-Clad process to manufacture In-line Fiber Optic Polarizer for fiber optic sensors and test equipments• I have ample experience in operating and characterization of LD, SLD, and LED at 1310 and 1550 nm with advance equipment like OSA.
• I have been using different type of equipment in lab as well as in field which includes loss test meters, different light sources, OTDR and different detectors.
• Established test labs for characterization and qualification of optical fibers, fiber devices, and systems according to international telecom standards: ITU and Telcordia.
• I have been worked on White Light Interferometery of optical fibers and Photonics Devices.
• Responsible for planning and execution of projects in the respective fields by exercising comprehensive control on the procurement and financial matters. Sufficiently experienced in resource and risk management in technology based projects.

3. Assistant Manager, Product Development, L.T. Engineering & Trade Services, Pakistan 2001 – 2003
Significant experience in Product Development, Process Development, and Configuration Management in the fields of device manufacturing & production, system integration, testing & qualification:
• Responsible for setting up a pilot plant for fiber optic connectorization to produce 3000 patch cords per month. • I was officer in charge of the mass production of Patch Cords.
• Conducted basic research and feasibility study for in-country development of Fiber Amplifiers, External Modulators, Responsible for interaction with both domestic and international companies/institutes to establish either technological collaboration or procurement of specialized equipments.
4. ZELMED PVT. LTD. – 15th May 2000 to 20th March 2001
I worked as Service Engineer and marketing manager in Zelmed Pvt. Ltd (which deals in Electro medical Systems and are sole distributor of G.E (USA,I worked on the following Systems.
