Leading a workforce of 1000 personnel’s in the Fibre Group of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., after being taken over by RIL. I am responsible Production optimization, efficiency improvement and manpower optimization of two plants of Baroda. I am reporting to Whole Time Director.
Recently I have been working in Technical Deptt and is looking after Energy section of Baroda complex.
2000 – 2002 : Sr. Vice President
Consolidated Fibres & Chemicals Ltd.

Led a team of managers & technocrats. I was the site head of Haldia unit. I was responsible for Productivity, liasoning with govt officials, cost & inventory control and safety of 350 personnel’s working at the site. I was reporting to Whole Time Director.

1994 – 2000 Vice President- Technology
Vardhman Acrylics Ltd, New Delhi

Led a team of Managers & Technical personnel’s for the all the aspects of project of management for successful implementation of the project. I was responsible for selection of process technology, site selection, machinery selection & contractors for setting up a 16,500 TPA capacity Acrylic Fibre plant at Bharuch, Gujarat – India. Plant was successfully commissioned in1999 ahead of schedule.


1992 - 1994 Process Manager
Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd, Japan

Looked after basic design, erection & commissioning of a 30,000 TPA capacity Acrylic Fibre plant for M/s Shanghai Petrochemical complex, China. It was a contractual assignment.
1988 – 1992 Dy. Production Manager
Thai Acrylic Fibre Company Ltd., Thailand.

Looked after complete erection, commissioning & project activities of a 17,000 TPA capacity Acrylic Fibre plant. After successful commissioning, I was responsible for overall production, quality control and optimization.


1983 – 1988 Manager
India Poly Fibres Ltd, India

Looked after project activities, erection & commissioning of a 15,000 TPA capacity Polyester Fibre plant. The process know how was given by M/s. Dupont, USA. After successful commissioning, I was responsible for production, quality control & troubleshooting.
