Plant Manager
Plan, manage and organize all operational activities of entire Production and Maintenance department in line with Sasol Gulf policies on business targets, safety, legal compliance and environmental aspects.
Prepare annual production and maintenance budget; review the cost effectiveness of actual operational cost to formulate corrective actions on any deviations defined.
Optimize cost and lead timely execution of major capital expenditures (CAPEX) and small modification projects, participate in its design and development.
Implement, maintain and continually improve Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000, and ISO 18000). Adopt Key Performance Agreement (KPA) implement all plant operating procedures and work instructions.
Internally develop Plant Maintenance Databank System and overall Plant Inventory Management System.
Develop monitoring system (Plan, Do, Review) of critical processes and parameters.
Enhance teamwork and tailored training programmes for all plant personnel.
Plant Engineer
Orchestrate production operations (start up and shut down); manpower planning, line inputs and outputs scheduling.
Encourage / motivate production and maintenance personnel to actively participate in Management initiated cost reduction activities, risk assessment and safety related projects through suggestions scheme and Integrated Management System application.
Production Engineer
Shift supervision and control operational and maintenance activities in Sulphonation and Neutralization plants ensuring optimum utilization of available resources.
Coordinate with other departments concerning production line requirements. Maintain product quality while establishing process flow and standards, as well as maintenance of equipments.
Lead line staffs in monitoring and analyzing causes of production difficulties, quality problems and production off specs/scraps ensuring corrective and preventive actions are carried out.
