Additional Information
Currently Engineer-In-Charge and completely responsible for all the Inspection / NDT / Corrosion activities of the following Facilities:
- Crude Distillation unit
- Vacuum Distillation Unit
- Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU)
- Paraffin Wax Plant
- Boilers (10 nos) and associated Units (DM, BFW etc).
- Cooling Towers (5 nos)
- Thorough knowledge on all the applicable API / ASTM / ANSI / ASME Codes/Standards.
- Actively lead & manage inspection, testing, life assessment and repair / replacement recommendations of all refinery process equipments, boilers, & pipelines.
- Planning and coordination of all activities of Inspection/Corrosion/NDT. Responsible for planning and organizing plant shutdown & on-stream activities.
- Advise on Critical Inspection, Corrosion Control, Failure Analysis, Life assessment and Quality Assurance at Vendor’s Shops.
- Provide Inspection, Corrosion Control, Coordination and Technical Backup during Unit On-stream and Shutdown Periods.
- Failure Analysis and Life Assessment of Refinery Equipments.
- Leading the inspection personnel to achieve the targets and plan to maintain the integrity of piping and equipments by allocating appropriate personnel to suit the requirement.
- Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) to meet ISO 9000 standards. Follow up a corrective action to improve the Quality system.
- Preparation of Quality Control Procedures, WPS, PQR and Welders Qualification Test.
