1. Performing, Checking & reviewing of design, detailed engineering and ensuring technical accuracy of the following systems:-
Design calculations-instrument sizing, cable sizing, Drawings-control panel layout, cable layout, Diagrams-wiring, ESD logic, loop, hookups, Data sheets, Specifications, Studies-safety integrity level, reliability.
2. Planning and scheduling the instrumentation work for the project within the overall project plan.
3. The checking of process engineering flow schemes, utility engineering flow schemes, functional logic diagrams and flow charts (functional description).
4. Preparing and updating instrument data sheets.
5. The calculations for flow measuring instruments and control valves, safety valves and thermowells.
6. Purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations etc. during all phases of allotted project i.e. basic, detailed, construction and installation engineering.
7.The assessment of quotations, selection of suppliers from the list of preferred manufacturers, checking copies of orders and suppliers data/drawings/documents.
8.The factory inspection of instruments, control panels, control systems.
9.Design ,Specification and detailed engineering of Integrated Control
Systems.
9.The preparation of detailed documents and drawings for the ordering and installation of the instruments,etc.
10.The checking of the plant models.
11.Follow-up and progress control on all matters relating to Instrument Engineering.
12.Responsible for planning, organizing and delegation of work to discipline engineers and drafting staff working on the allotted project.
13.Specialist in using INtools for Instrumentation design.
14.Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) and Safety Integrity Level(SIL) studies.

Educational qualifications
„P M.E. (Elx.& C) from University of Rourkee in 1981.
„P B.E. (Electronics ) from M.M.M. Engineering. College, Gorakhpur in 1978. (84.3%, II nd Rank.)
