I wish to work as a an oil field geologist and wish to become an expert and known- industrial biostratigrapher

• Nature of work primarily rests with scientific administrative aspects of prospecting and exploration of mineral resources and evaluation of mining possibilities particularly that of granite and other building stone varieties within the State of Kerala.
• Experienced in quarry face mapping and conversant with mining laws pertaining to the state
• Advantage of the work As it also engages plenty of socio-economic and environmental issues related to mining activities. Constant interaction with people and environment which are affected with various scale of land degradation due to excessive exploitation of natural resources being an added experience in dealing with contemporary socio-economic issues. Actively associated with a working team having responsibility in resolving mining related issues especially land reclamation after the closure of mines with adequate administrative and scientific inputs.
• Taken part in various EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) studies related to mining and quarrying in Thrissur District Kerala, India.
• Associated with disaster management team in dealing with incidence of earthquakes, landslides and coastal calamities etc.

Training Attended
Completed 15 days training in Structural Geology conducted by Geological Survey of India at GSITI Zawar Centre, Rajasthan in India. During this period effectively participated in field oriented structural mapping and exposed to various methods and techniques in geological mapping.
Operational knowledge of Windows 9X, XP and programs like MS-Office with Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, CorelDraw etc.
