Correct implementation and supervision of HSE Regulations and industry HSE standards
Maintaining the HSE Library.
Ensuring company HSE policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively, and are known and understood by all employees.
Conducting effective employee HSE inductions and training in the language appropriate for employees.
Regularly inspecting the equipment and work sites involved in the project. Identification of unsafe acts and conditions including remedial action, notification to line-management of outstanding deficiencies for future correction.
Assisting with accident and incident investigations and compiling of complete reports in a timely manner.
Assisting supervisors with the implementation and induction HSE/SMS training to all levels of employees and subcontractors as required.
Monitoring the system of maintenance and inspection of lifesaving, firefighting, rigging, lifting, welding and scaffolding equipment.
Permit to Work system. Performing of single point of control and authorization of work activities on the work site.
Professional counselling and assistance to personnel performing Safe Job Analyses.
Conducting the Safety/Delegates Meetings.
