Kentz Engineers & ConstructorsBuyer/Project Expediter, Procurement Engineer· Responsibilities:· Review requirements/requisitions. · Issue enquiries as per Project Vendor List. · Arrange for technical clarification requested by bidders prior to bid submission. · Distribute offers for technical evaluation. · Commercial evaluation of offers. · Arrange for technical discussions and technical clarification on bidders offers. · Recommending techno-commercially suitable offer for order placement. · Negotiation for prices and commercial conditions. · Order placement and its acceptance. · Maintain updated status on requisitions/assigned works. · Provide commercial support to inter-departments requirements e.g. availability of commercial grade materials, vendors list etc. · Resolving post order queries, if any, to make it unconditionally acceptable. · Developing new vendor. · Preparing comparison chart, negotiation with selected vendor· Preparing Purchase order· Expediting the delivery · Preparing Subcontracts, subcontract enquiries · Arranging for Shipping, customs duties related matters· Preparing Invoice approvalForecasting the delivery of the items· Preparing tender requisition, sending out tender enquiries, getting quotations· Doing technical and commercial evaluation· Co-ordinate with Shipping company for delivery of Materials.· Preparing Advance note for Subcontractors for particular shipments.· Collecting the information of containers, materials, shipment details, weight.· Co-ordinating with Subcontractors regarding the shipment delivery for the project for Crane arrangements etc.· Finding out the reason for shipment delay and improving the shipment delivery· preparing the shipping plan. · Co-ordinate with transport people for smooth operations of the delivery.
