Duties and responsibilities: Senior Buyer for Materials & Service procurement.
I’m responsible for procurement of at least 5 Sister Companies of the Mother one, mainly for Kashagan project in Kazakhstan and Medgaz Project (Algeria-Spain). I follow the entire procurement flow for both materials & services, since the request for quotation starting with the MTO until taking care of goods’ shipment to final destination. Final use is Platforms, Flare & Pipeline Constructions.
I buy materials as: pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, diesel generators, skids, cables, detectors, air compressors, ropes, transformers, electrical parts, carbon steel plates, flanges, breathing apparatuses, cathodic protections, telecommunication systems, cranes, coatings, etc.
I also issue contracts for: first start of the equipments to work on site, coating of pipes, installation and construction on site, cranes rent, various types of rent for workers equipments, hazid studies, temporary refuge on barge, etc.
I coordinate people, mixed roles as Buyers, Expeditors, Logistic, in order to have a complete Chain Supply Management under my personal control & responsability.
