• Seconded to Dubai and Jeddah office of Ernst & Young Global for the provision of auditing and assurance services.

The work performed on the aforementioned engagements includes but not limited to;
• Planning and developing audit strategies and procedures by performing risk assessments in response to clients’ business risks and financial risks and testing of key controls over the clients’ business and accounting processes.
• Ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and are in compliance with the local laws.
• Drafting of reports including, management letters highlighting internal control weaknesses.
• Supervising, coordinating and appraising work of operational level staff and ensuring that audit objectives are efficiently achieved within the agreed time-scale.
• Executing audit procedures (including analytical review procedures) in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing.

TRAINING COURSES
• Participated in technical courses organised by Ernst & Young Karachi office on various topics namely, Global Audit Methodology and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Attended various seminars on International Accounting Standards held at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
• Attended AA2 course of Ernst & Young Global Audit Methodology for middle east secondment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Command in Caseware and MS office applications particularly Excel and Word;
• Enjoys working in pressure situations with tight realistic deadlines;
• Adapt to the situations of the work quickly; and
• Proficiency in English and Urdu languages.

 Interested in both playing and watching indoor and outdoor sports including football, cricket, hockey, tennis, table tennis and basket ball, reading books especially Islamic history.
