 In March 2007 I was nominated to do an environmental course in Cape Town as to be transferred as environmentalists for Army Battle School, South-Africa. The course was presented as an introduction to new standards of implemented programs to all military units of South-Africa and environmental awareness in the military.
 Deployment in June 2005 in Darfur (Sudan) stationed at Al-Fasher. Deployed on behalf of SANDF as a C-Vehicles Maintenance Manager, but was handed the post as Water Representative between AU and the PAE to coordinate the water situation in all 32 camps. I was responsible for the education of AU – troops, analyzing of water wells in the areas, improvement and installation of water purification systems. I worked closely with different NGO’s; Oxfam, UNICEF, Fram. I worked in Darfur for 9 months.
 During the deployment fase, I had to report on a weekly base to the Commanding Officer of the AU mission in Sudan, Project manager of PAE Government Service of America, Mr. Bruce Smart, the Head of Mission at Al-Fasher and the South-African Ambassador in Khartoum.
 Managed to help PAE Government Service with the buying of the currently used well drilling equipment from the French Company PAT-Drill.
 Deployed with the SANDF in 2000, preparing for a power line project from Maputo to smaller villages in the north of Mozambique.

 During my military career I gain a lot of experience on Construction vehicles, e.g. Front End loaders ,Graders , Wheel dozers , Track Dozers, Combination battle tractor ,TLB , Rollers sheep foot, vibrating ,9 wheel pneumatic , Old Galion roller ,Light and heavy Forklifts ,Dumper trucks ,Bell dump truck 17-40 tons ,Low bed 30 – 60 tons, building of gravel roads , preparation of Tarfix on airstrips and taxi areas , Digging of foundation and preparation of building sites, the establishment of a firm working environment.

S/Sgt (Staff Sergeant)
 When I was promoted to S/Sgt, I was put in charge of a Squadron. A Squadron concise out of 3 troops, a troop is 27 men. This was done to help the closing down of the unit.
 I was sent to Sudan in North – Africa, where I was put in charge of all the water affaires of the AU (Africa Union) Camps.
 Managed 32 main camp representatives in Darfur.
 Working close with company station at Al-Fasher PAE Government Service in Darfur.
