Professional Experience

•Over twenty one years of experience in normal operations and in minor and major capital project in the Oil & Gas Industry, working as IM/IT Analyst thru IM/IT Manager and Project Manager (for IM/IT and Engineering) on all phases of project development; ranging from front-end design through engineering and construction to facility and applications commissioning.
•Experience as IM/IT Manager/Solutions Superintendent: Experience in operating large IM/IT establishments, includes labor, technical resources and equipment. Build an internal portfolio within different business units and take full responsibility for its final implementation and support. Establish best practice procedures and mold the organization to produce results. Define, develop, implement and achieve or exceed agreed service levels. Manage client satisfaction thru the use of Key indicators and identify and implement actions to address deviations. Manage operations and small project budgets.
•Experience as Project Manager/Project Leader: Manage capital projects to achieve results on time, on budget and with within required scope and quality. Direct participation from the conceptual engineering thru implementation/commissioning as well as responsible for all the project interactions with clients and all other disciplines. Develop, monitor, track, analyze, and forecast, on project budgets, estimates to complete, WBS cost monitoring, commitments and expenditures, change management. Assume leadership in contracting strategies, negotiations and results.
•Experience as Planner/Scheduler: Develop strategic planning schedules for projects and on going organization and at different levels of detail. Monitor progress, forecast targets and deviations. Perform variance analysis, status reports and tailor presentations to different audiences.
•Experience as Contract Administrator: Define and implement contracting strategies to achieve commercial solutions that address business requirements. Monitor contract execution. Manage and develop contract/commercial negotiations, bid packages preparation, evaluation of technical and commercial proposals, administration and close out.

Eductation

-BS in Electrical Engineer (Computer Science) graduated from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. United States in Nov. 84. I have also revalidated my title in Venezuela in 1994 as an Electrical Engineer (Machines and Power Transmission).
-I have participated in several managerial and technical conferences and courses to enrich his professional capabilities. Most of my training has been oriented in understanding methodologies and concepts that are applied to manage business situations such as: Finance for Managers, Information Technology for Managers, Change Management, Project Management, e-Business and e-commerce, Business Intelligence, Fifth Discipline, Object Oriented Designed, Managerial Development skills training, Telecommunications and Networks for Managers, Client server architectures design, Decision & Risk Analysis, Negotiations Workshops, etc. as well as others basic training to perform actual work.

•Ability to deal with aggressive deadlines and changing requirements, responsible, proactive, creative, dynamic, analytical and accurate abilities, strong work ethics, oriented to customer satisfaction, experience working both as a client and as a consultant.

-I am an experienced senior IM/IT Business Consultant in areas that are related to identify, model, integrate, develop and manage automation systems solutions. I have over 21 years of experience of management information systems requirements and taken over different roles that range from IM Business Analyst, IM Applications Superintendent to projects manager and refinery IM/Automation manager to in the oil industry including key technical, maintenance and applications support lead positions.
-I have strong business development and project management capabilities, skills and business processes knowledge in the industry as well as sufficient knowledge to manage resources to implement proper and efficient solutions based on financial and time requirements. I concentrate my experiences in applying simple solutions to complex manners that strategically requires any business to achieve prompt results aligned with business constrains.
-Mr. Rada has been responsible to design project strategies and execute them by negotiating and closing the contracts with several vendors and outsourced resources at the same time always achieving balanced results.
