Tankfarm Supirentendent

Responsible for supervising and coordinating tankfarm activities for efficient raw material & product movement. Responsible for the efficient operations of the Drumming and Flaking plant. Responsible for CNO receiving / movement and Fuel receiving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that SOPs on all Tankfarm operations including Drumming and Flaking, Product Loading, Blending, Transferring, CNO and Fuel receiving are implemented according to ISO 9002 requirements.
• Prepares Daily Plan for efficient implementation of Tankfarm, Flaking and Drumming activities based on the Production Plan.
• Responsible for preparation of Product Intertank Transfer Checklist to preclude any product contaminations.
• Ensures that continuous process operations are supported through efficient operations of Tankfarm activities.
• Responsible for all product loadings in vessel, isotank and lorries including product transfers to MRC, Stepan, SOCC and Soap Noodles Plant.

• Responsible for efficient encoding to the ORACLE system all product deliveries/loading.
• Coordinates regularly with QA Supervisors regarding quality of product in storage tanks for loading.
• Coordinates with maintenance personnel regarding necessary maintenance works in his area of responsibility.
• Coordinates with Process and Project Engineers regarding revisions and upgrade of facilities.
• Initiates Work Orders/ CAPEX to maintain and improve Tankarm facilities and operations.
• Coordinates with Process and Product Engineers regarding test runs and other related activities.
• Participates in setting up of annual OGSM and cascade this down to his subordinates for implementation.
• Responsible for implementation TQM suggestions/improvements related to Tankfarm Operations.
• Responsibilities for maintaining product quality while in storage and ensures preclusion of product spillages and wastage.
• Ensures his subordinates are doing good housekeeping and safety precautions.
• Responsible for efficient Flaking and Drumming operations, minimizing generations of off specs product and other waste.
• Responsible for efficient flaking tolling operations for STEPAN.
• Responsible for addressing Customer Complaints related to Flaking, Drumming, Product loading activities, and other related Tankfarm activities.
• Revises and implements changes in Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
• Monitors and coordinates fuel inventory with Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Co.
• Coordinates with four(4) Tankfarm Shift Supervisors regarding all activities in his area of responsibilities.
