• Maintenance and troubleshooting of the DCS control system (ABB Infi90) in Port Fouad gas processing plant and related offshore platforms.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Turbo-compressor
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of the plant ESD/PSD control system (August Systems) – a TMR system.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting of the Gasoline Reboilers and Glycol Regeneration Burner Management Systems (Siemens Step5)
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of recycle compressors (Hanover – Waukesha Engine) Allan Bradley PLC system.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of offshore pneumo-hydraulic control units, which represent the main control and safety system on offshore platforms (ESD, GPSD and Well PSD).
• Calibration and loop checking of various instruments.
• Calibration and checking of flow metering systems.

Activities:

• Participated in the HAZOP study for the Semman platform
• Participated in various commissioning and startup activities:
• Played an active role in the study for the DCS upgrading to be carried out in Port Fouad Plant.
• Carried out training sessions for newly-appointed engineers.
• Contributed in the building and implementation of a database system for the daily activities of Port Fouad Field.

Other Skills:

• Interpreting P&ID diagrams, loop diagrams, data sheets, pneumatic/hydraulic panels drawings
• Interpreting various manufacturer documents
