Safety Engineer Projects, Sabic Engineering & Project Management
Responsibilities:
Safety In charge for all SABIC Projects for three SABIC Affiliates namely YANPET, IBN-RUSHD and GAS.
To coordinate and conduct all Safety/SHE related documentation and implementation on behalf of SABIC Shared Services Engineering Project Management Team. (SS-E&PM).
To review all health and safety related documentation, work permit procedures and safety equipment requisitions to ensure compliance with established SABIC standards by SABIC contractors and vendors.
2) JULY 2005 – MARCH 2007
Worked as a Safety Engineer at SAUDI ARAMCO RIYADH REFINERY under the badge # 7992847 with SEOKWANG DEVLOPMENT COMPANY Ltd. A South Korean company performing contract jobs with SAUDI ARAMCO (Saudi Arabian Oil Company).
Main job responsibilities include to
• Co-ordinate and monitor all safety and health activities to ensure agreed health safety and environmental standards are fully implemented and properly followed.
• To co-ordinate and conduct weekly tool box talk meetings, weekly site inspections. Attend weekly comprehensive safety meetings with Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (SAPMT).
• To review all health and safety related documentation, work permit procedures and safety equipment requisitions to ensure compliance with established standards.
• To lead contractor safety teams during Plant Shutdowns.
3) MARCH 2001- JULY 2005
Worked as “Operations Executive” in INDIANOIL PETRONAS PVT LTD. LPG Import/Export Terminal at Haldia, West Bengal (India). A joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation and Petronas (Petroleum Nasional Berhad Malaysia).The plant is ISO9001 and is having cryogenic and pressurized storage of LPG, propane, and butane. The terminal having capacity of 600000 MT per annum serves as an LPG hub on eastern Indian coast and caters to the demands of northeastern and central states of the country.
