Project Management Professional with procurement and logistics experience

To make career in oil and gas field by executing projects in the same field.

Currently working as a Project Manager and handling HRSG projects (in CCPP) for Sohar Aluminium Oman, Tallawarra (Australia) and Skopje (Macedonia).

· Responsible towards customer and management for overall smooth and timely execution of the project.
· Project management activities - project planning, scheduling and project monitoring.
· Planning cash flows during the project life-cycle and keeping track of the same to maintain the cash inflow and outflow balance.
· Analyzing potential risks and opportunities during the life of project and providing mitigation plans for managing risks.
· Co-ordination with various in-house and external agencies like client, consultant, vendors, contractors, design department, purchase, production, accounts and service department for timely and satisfactory completion of the project.
· Project progress reporting to higher management and customer.
· Procurement activities that include pre-order analysis of commercial offers from suppliers, making comparatives, finalizing terms & conditions with prices and releasing orders, co-ordination with vendors, monitoring progress at suppliers works and dispatch of materials.
· Responsible for logistics of the export jobs – arranging transport of material from supplier’s works up to port of dispatch, liasoning with custom handling agents at ports for custom clearence (for both export & import).
· Responsible for ensuring proper documentation for obtaining excise duty and sales tax exemption plus availing DEPB benefits for export jobs.
· Close monitoring of site activities to see if any support is required for resolving site issues, short supplies, timely completion of site activities as per site schedules, site exigencies.

Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical, passed out in 2000 from Uniersity of Mumbai, India

Done a certificate course in Project Planning and Management (specialization in Primavera & MS Projects)

· Being the first export job being handled from India by Alstom Delhi, India, I developed procedures for ensuring smooth dispatches from supplier’s works, both in India and abroad, arranging necessary clearances, documentation for custom clearences at port of export and import.

· Successfully completed dispatches for Sohar project well before schedule and was awarded a letter of appreciation by the organization.
