Established and promotes the maintenance of safe, accident free and health work environment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.

Sufficient familiarity in piping Drawings (plan and Isometric)

Coordinate safety training programs with representatives of workers, which will increase proficiency in safe practice and promote safety awareness.

Conduct a brief periodical meeting with representative of workers on HSE problems and take prompt actions to remove that. Guidance to all workforce regarding house keeping with 5s activities at site.

Consult with all departments on design and use of equipment, workshops fire prevention and safety program and the selection of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Formulates general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company project / site personnel in compliance with health and safety rules and regulations, develops safety guidelines and evaluates safety equipment and personal protective equipment.

Initiates, develops and implements safety awareness at offices, projects/sites and camps. Inspects or tours organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazard and recommends corrective or preventive measures where indicated.

Keeps employers alerted as to the hazards of working with toxic fumes, dangerous chemicals and any other hazardous substances at refinery site.
