Professional Experience
All the work experience I have has been acquired by working for SASOL, an international petrochemical company. During the seven years I have spent there I have mostly worked in a project environment, although I do have two years worth of maintenance experience. My responsibilities included representing Sasol internationally on large scale projects by ensuring that our quality needs and specifications are fully met. My involvement in these projects spanned from initiation, conceptual design and planning through to construction, commissioning, handover and start-up. During this time I have worked in many different departments, fulfilling various different roles with various degrees of management and leadership responsibilities.

Date: 2000 B.Eng (Mechanical) University of Stellenbosch

Achievements
• Selected and seconded for rotational training and work experience to Sasol Germany in 2002/3, where I implemented various capital and maintenance related projects. During this period I learned to speak German and to really function independently in an environment with little support.
