Over Two Years and Five months experience in R&D works

To pursue a career in the field of Earth Sciences by associating with an organization so as to enhance my skills and knowledge by keeping on learning and updating the latest technologies

With the work experience of over Two years in the field of Earth Science, I have developed substantial knowledge and aptitude on the preparation of multidisciplinary programmes and report writing. These enabled me for organizing, planning, designing, implementing and reporting many of the project related programmes. I am associated with a major programme on Geotechnical properties of Marine sediments and involved in offshore bathymetric surveys and in the preparation of a Shoreline management plan for the west coast of Kerala having an extent of ~120 km coastal stretch. I have developed strong analytical ability and proficiency in Research coordination and evaluation. I have also developed the ability to appreciate others’ point of view and take advice in the proper spirit and capable to work as a member of a team and to promote team spirit and optimise the output of the team.
Working as Research Fellow in the Centre For Earth Science Studies (CESS), Thiruvananthapuram, a Research and Development Organisation established by Ministry of Earth Science Govt. of India in the project captioned “Tracking the Past Disasters and Tsunami Along the Parts of Tamil Nadu Coast” funded by Dept. of Science and Technology (DST-73). (Feb- 2006 – till date).

* Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted by CSIR 2005.
* Master of Science in Applied Geology from the Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, India. Achieved 6.95 (CGPA) 2003-05.
* Bachelor of Science in Geology, MES College Ponnani, Calicut University in Kerala, India. Achieved 60% (2000-03).

20 days professional training at Atomic Minerals Directorate in Karnataka, India

Objectives: - The programme included extensive training on Structural Mapping, Geological Mapping, core sampling, Theodolite Survey, and Different methods of Geophysical exploration methods for Uranium Prospecting. Reconnaissance survey, Geophysical survey and well logging.

* VB/Oracle programming from SSi, Kerala, India. Achieved ‘B’ Grade.(2002)
* DCA from Eskay Computer Academy in Edapal Kerala, India. Achieved First Class (2000)
