• Responsible for smooth working of rotary and stationary equipments.

• Working with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation. Ltd; at Mumbai Refinery as a Senior Maintenance Technician since 1995.
• Duration of the Job:- 13 Year
My duties as Senior Mechanical Technician:
• Reporting to Engineer in charge and submit work review.
• Alignment of pumps, compressors.
• Preventive maintenance and Overhauling of centrifugal, plunger, gear, jetty, lobe, diaphragm, screw pumps, and all positive displacement pumps.
• To carryout preventive maintenance of all types of compressors in plant.
• Overhauling of Safety, relief, gate, globe, butterfly and needle valves.
• To repair Heat Exchangers and carryout testing of exchangers like ring test, tube test and final test.
• Manpower planning and making data.
• Document control of overall package as well as documents management.
• Independently handled Furnace repair job during Shut down.
• Repair and testing of pressure vessels, drums and storage tanks.
• Acting assignment as Engineer, Maintenance during startup of PDA, NMP. Hydrogen units.
• Complete overhauling of de waxed oil fitter in Propane De waxing unit.
• Maintenance of piping including Hot and Cold Insulation, pressure testing of lines.
• Worked on “Maximo” computer software for material planning.
• Dynamic balancing of rotors of rotary equipments.

Responsibility as Senior Mechanical Technician.

• Responsible for smooth working of rotary and stationary equipments.
• Timely site visits and supervision in order to ensure quality assurance.
• Reporting daily feedback of all Rotary equipments to Plant in charge.
• Checking of all pumps for running condition and preventive maintenance.
• To manage available resources with proper planning.
• To minimize Breakdown time of equipments.
• Co-ordination with other departments regarding jobs.
• To follow up with vendors to get the job done.
