Assignment as Operations, Reservoir or Development Geologist

Thirty-three years of experience in a wide range of exploration and development plays with emphasis on Southeast Asia, Indonesia and the U.S. Rocky Mountains. Responsibilities have encompassed prospect generation, development, production, new ventures, operations and wellsite geology in a variety of complex stratigraphic environments comprising clastics and carbonates. Most recent projects include operations geology for a drilling program offshore of Malaysia and for the development of Oseil field in the remote island of Seram in Eastern Indonesia. Projects included a regional study of the Kutei shelf and deepwater areas for Unocal in Kalimantan, office based operations for 2 offshore wells for Shell in the Gulf of Thailand, new ventures for Unocal in Indonesia, operations and wellsite geology on Singa-1, a deep HTHP well in South Sumatra, operations geology for Petronas Carigali in offshore Vietnam and responsibility for contributing geological input for a reservoir simulation of Air Serdang field and development drilling in Air Serdang and Guruh fields located in South Sumatra for Bow Valley-Pertamina and Chief Geologist for five years on a rehabilitation and waterflood project of four oil fields in South Sumatra.
