Since Feb’00 with Indian Oil (India’s only Cryogenic LPG Import Plant), Kandla as Assistant Manager (Safety)

Involved in implementation of ISO 14001& ISO 18001 in the plant at Kandla, developing procedures & standards for fire prevention & protection, inspection, maintenance & up-keeping all fire protection systems, tendering works for procurement of fire fighting systems as well as training security, plant personnel & contract labours.

Major achievements
 Actively involved in securing major awards & honours for the plant.
o Experience of decantation of accidental TTs. Developed emergency kit for the same.
 Formulated Security Contingency Plan, Bomb threat Contingency Plan & Cyclone contingency Plan for LPG Import Terminal Kandla.

Environmental Management System
 Monitoring the level of air, noise & water pollution and initiating need-based measures in case they supersede the pre-set parameters.
 Conducting internal as per the check list to ensure all operations are executed within the set environmental stipulations.
