Responsible as the owner of the site, accountable for every thing on site including utility operation and maintenance of plant, equipment, machinery and buildings.
Responsible for optimizing plant operations for cost efficient and safe operations.
Responsible to adapt and localize (where applicable) BOC’s Best Operating Practices & Standards, i.e. apply Energy Audit, Audit - Manager , Operator’s Tool Kits, IMSS and formulates other applicable standards for operations to and beyond BOC Standards.
Ensure safe and effective management of all production, maintenance and other site activities.
Develop/improve site production systems and personnel performance to ensure that the necessary personnel, organization, equipment and infrastructure are available to meet the required product availability.
Ensure that all government, BOC and safety requirements on the site are adhered to.
Liaise with Marketing/Sales, Distribution, Other Production Sites, Maintenance, Customer Engineering and SHES for effective team work to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for timely completion of monthly reports including Production, Safety, and Operations Platform Reports.

Responsible for optimization of various mechanical equipments on national level for cost efficient and safe operations.
Ensures CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) checklists of all mechanical equipments are implemented and maintained. Water treatment system integrity and effectiveness to be ensured.
Collaborate with GM Operations and assist him in completing several day to day assignments and reports.
Ensures all local performance and production cost reports are completed in due time and circulated to relevant departments.
Liaise with plant managers, distribution, finance, sales & marketing, CES and SHES for effective team work to ensure timely completion of various reporting requirements.
Coordinate between sites and supply management for procurement of approved engineering spares/services.
