Career Objective
Rig Mechanic / Barge Engineer
Professional Experience
I am a Marine Mechanical Engineer with more than 24 years of progressively experience. in the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul and installation of heavy marine equipment and machinery.
In April 2007 I resigned my contract of employment, because of my domestic problems. I currently
possess a First Class Engineer Ticket, STCW 95 qualified. I completed all correspondent courses
related to my qualification and current position.
I possess offshore experience through the long term work on offshore supply vessels and anchor
handling/towing vessels at companies known such Seabulk Offshore Dubai (Dubai, UAE), Doha
Marine Services (Doha, Qatar). During that time I visited a lot of rigs and complexes and I found the
same installations and equipment, which are in use on board of any offshore vessels and known for
me. From other side I know an offshore trade from discovering, drilling to production of oil and gas.
It interesting for me and I want to be a part of this trade.
In my career as a Marine Engineer I have worked on different type of engines such as Detroit EMD 645/E, Caterpillar, Wartsila, etc. I have been a part of four engines refits on various vessels. I have a dry dock experience with overhauling marine propulsion machinery and equipment.
