1. Automation/Control Systems Maintenance (Chevron Angola):

My current employer provides maintenance services to Chevron. As part of this arrangement, I have been working at Chevron's Malongo base in Angola. Malongo base is an onshore crude oil collection, treatment, storage and loading facility.
I am working at this site as a Control System Specialist. Part of my job is to maintain all the control systems at the site and ensure their availability round the clock. I also provide support during control systems upgrades, modifications as well as new projects at the site. Another important aspect of my job is to interact with the Production department to improve operational processes and efficiency of plant components.

2. Automation/Control Systems Projects and Site Work:

Before starting work in Angola, I have remained part of different project teams. During the course of my career, I have led project technical teams during the entire project life cycle. I have been involved in project start up, scheduling, documentation, procurement, software development, client correspondence and functional acceptance tests (FAT). I also have experience of commissioning and troubleshooting activities at customer locations in different industries.
