Middle East branch of the Multinational Company K.S. Kromberg & Schubert GmbH (German based Kroschu group) engaged in manufacturing of electrical wire harnesses for following Automobile manufacturers: BMW AG, Volkswagen G & Daimler-Chrysler- Mercedes Benz, Audi, Renault, Citroen & Peugeot.
Job Description:
1. To lead the Maintenance dept, in the company’s branch in Dubai
2. To achieve minimum downtime targets continuous improvement cost reduction spare parts management
3.To coordinate maintenance activities with the following depts.
(Dubai) Production, Quality and Purchase.
3. Specific areas of responsibility:
1. Delegating to & supervising individual work carried out by each technician in maintenance. Dept.
2. Preventive maintenance schedule preparation and updating regularly
3. Implementing an effective preventive maintenance system and work towards TPM philosophy for future
4. Spare parts consumption recording and control of orders and stock
5. Weekly report of maintenance activities problems solved/pending status to Prodn. & Tec. Plant Mgr.
6. Training of new technicians
7. TV. Equipment / tooling capacity check for new projects/ new tec. Changes and ordering of new items.
8. Coordinate in capability study of new tools and equipments and solve technical problems therein
9. Installation of new or relocated equipments, machine modifications, in optimum time schedules
10. Coordination of subcontracted maintenance activities like compressor AC unit maint./plumbing / Civil etc.
11. Act as the safety representative for the company and coordinate safety program.
Dec 2005 – July 2006 , Manager – Maintenance:
M/S Meta Film India Pvt Ltd, (Paharpoor & ITC-Food division) Chennai Installation of 11KV HT Transformer, 600KVA Diesel Generator, Air compressor, Conveyer and Fully automated PLC controller Machines for new factory.
Responsibilities: Plant Maintenance in charge and Purchase related to Maint dept.

IHD Industries Pvt Ltd, Irungattukkottai. Manufacturer of Electric Fuel Pumps, Sender and Module assembly for Hyundai Motor India Ltd. An ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949 Registered firm 100% Korean Management Factory.

Completed Bachelor Degree of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DR MGR Engineering College, Chennai in 2000, and Affiliated by UNIVERSITY OF MADRAS with an aggregate of 62.8%.
