• As a Safety Officer implement company HSE policy in the system in compatible with Client HSE policy to ensure all activities are controlled with appropriate procedure and principle.
• Observes work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment worn and procedures are followed.
• Cooperate with the Company and Client in observing all procedures, rules and regulations.
• Coordinates and consults with Division Directors and program managers regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notifies management staff regarding violation of safety regulations and codes.
• Makes recommendations for corrections and follow up to ensure the violation has been corrected.
• Analyzes hazards and develops ergonomic risk assessments for both public and non-public areas.
• Develops policies, plan and procedures to minimize risk to the public and employees.
• Resolve complaints and makes recommendations to manager for corrective action, as required.
• Conducts or provides for employee safety training, including classroom lectures, demonstrations or hands-on instruction.
• Reviews accidents and makes recommendation for prevention of similar future incidents.
• Participate in incident investigation teams, depending on the nature of the incident.
• Uses standard office equipment including a computer.
• Attends meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
