Electrical Engineer with an experience of 10+ years covering the manufacturing and the service industry.

To find a position where I can apply my abilities and skills gained over the due course of time and that will also help me grow technically and financially with time.

From Dec.1992 to June 1994

Worked as Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) in Cherat Cement plant, situated near Nowshera, Pakistan. The existing capacity of the plant was 1400 ton per day (tpd) but later it was extended to 2300 tpd.

The main task covered installation and commissioning jobs in the extension project in addition to the routine maintenance of the plant as well. The duties included:

1. Installation and commissioning of AC and DC variable speed drives, Power transformers, High Voltage Electrostatic Precipitators and Medium Voltage (MV) switch gears.
2. Preparation of appropriate plan for routing of MV cables and performing their High Voltage insulation tests (Meggering).
3. Preparation and implementation of proper layout for the plant instrumentation.
4. Handling coordination matters and managing a team of technicians and engineers to perform routine maintenance of all the equipment/ machinery during the plant shutdown.

Beside installation and commissioning work, hands on experience was acquired on the working of Programmable Logic Controller(PLC). The PLC used was Sematic S5 155U, supplied by Siemens Germany. The control of the plant was designed by French Company CLE and Siemens Pakistan was assigned the task regarding its implementation.

From July 1994 to Dec. 2000

Worked in the operation of 137MWe Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP).located in Karachi, Pakistan as Operation Engineer (Electrical). The main task was to ensure smooth running of plant supplying electricity to Karachi Electric Supply Corporation without interruption.


From Jan 2001 to date

Working as General Manager (technical) in a Government technical Organization. The assignment includes providing services to the Process industry.
