Additional Information
• Prepare Material take-off and Cutting plans required for the procurement of materials
• Study of structural drawings with respect to client’s requirement before starting the fabrication activities and bring to the notice of all concerned
• Review specifications prior to the preparation of erection activities
• Incorporate client’s comments in fabrication drawings and approve such drawings for construction.
• Prepare lift plans and schedules for the supply and erection of steel materials.
• Ensure implementation of work procedure and specifications. Supervise structural erection with regards to project procedures, method statement and specifications.
• Check pre assembly fit-ups prior to erection activities for dimensions, orientation and alignment.
• Monitor progress and submit reports to the management as and when required and advice re-scheduling wherever necessary.
• Documentation procedures for hand over of the completed structure
• Perform other duties such as engineering assistance on fabrication error that may occur during the construction stage.
