Marine Technician (FPSO),Ballast Control Operator, entry position in a Subsea Department

I have directly experience aboard FPSO (2 years) as a Marine Technician (FPSO) and I’m fully familiarize with Tank Operation procedures in particular Tank Entry Operations, Crude Oil Washing Operations, Water Washing of Cargo and Slop Tanks, Purging and Gas Freeing Operations, Helicopter Operations, Stability Planning and general facility administration as in stores and documentation.

I have twenty years experience in Oil & Gas. I spent ten years in the Oil Refinery INA as a Production Technician. After that I continued my career on board various tankers and spent ten years more like a Pump man / Cargo Assistant (8 years) and Cargo Technician – FPSO (2 years).

Also, I want to improve myself, my business career, enrich myself with new knowledge and experience, and share that all with a good staff.
For that reason I have been studying on the Faculty of Maritime Studies (study as you work course) in Rijeka. The program of education is The Nautical Science and Safety of Navigation. I successfully gave a first year and now I’m on the second one.
I adopted knowledge and passed exam: Ship stability, Technical mechanics, Maritime English I, Naval meteorology and oceanography, The application
of electronic computers, Maritime public law, Marine power systems, Safety at sea, Protection the sea and marine environmental, Mathematics I & II and yet some.

I have not any healthy disturbances and I am able to work in cold and hot areas.

I speak, write and read English very well. Also it’s possible basic communication by Italian and French. My PC knowledge is excellent.

I am a team player. Through all my cargo operations on board, I was a team leader too. The team I’ve managed included 3-7 persons.
I successfully completed Module Two - Du Pont Safety Training Observation Program. Safety Regulations, work permits, job safety meetings and safety work are normally in my job.
