Professional Experience
As a Senior Telecommunication Engineer and based at the oilfield of Occidental of Oman Inc., (www.oxy.com) at Safah and Mukhaizna, Oman since 1999. Part of a 2 man team providing 24 hr support to the communication infrastructure at the oil field, remote stations and to the rigs on site. Support coverage includes VHF / UHF radio, trunked radio, VSAT, multi channel high capacity PABX, cable TV network and data network cabling (UTP, fiber optic),Multitech Voip equipments,Wi-Lan radios, Cisco Aironet radios for wireless LAN networking , Cisco LAN switches, Cisco Access points,Cisco Call Manager, IP phones, MDS 2400 radios for Scada system,Moxa switches and Nortel passport LAN switches. Paging system(Basepage2000),intercom system, SCADA & RTU system
Working on a rotation schedule of 28 days work and 28 days leave.
