Oil Field Engineer, Centrilift Division ( Artificial Lift Equipments), Baker Hughes, April 2006- Present
•I have been on different jobs installing Electrical submersible equipments, Progressive cavity pumps, Water pumps, Down hole sensors (Phoenix, Centinel, Well Lift, Zenith), different kinds of Packers-penetrators, UK and US shrouds, and Y-tools.
•I worked on commissioning, start up, & trouble shooting of different electrical drives.
• I worked in a number of countries offshore & onshore, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Oman, and Egypt. This gave me the chance to enhance my experience of dealing with multi-cultures and different people.
•I have a good idea as well of the different activities taking place in the rig site related to drilling and completions, such as drill bits, different drilling techniques, hangers, packers, liner hangers, Christmas trees, BOPs, pipe joints, casings, and cementing jobs.
•Worked on applications where I designed the layout, power requirements, number, and sizes of the equipments that suit the different well parameters.
•I finished my field service school in Argentina with the highest grade in the group, and which covered the ESP as a field job, and as an industry in whole.
•I scored 94 % in the LEAD program, which I attended in Houston Texas. This course covered a description of the whole oil industry starting form the upstream to the downstream as well as the financial part and feasibility studies applicable to the oil business. This course gave me a strong understanding of the industry as a whole.
•I attended an ESP technology course in Dubai, which covered all the different applications and types of the ESP equipments as well as the different lift mechanisms.
•I attended a diverse number of safety trainings including offshore survival, H2S, defensive driving, desert driving, HEUW, NORM, and Fire fighting.
