 ROLE IN DESIGN
• Ability to Understand P&ID Diagrams of any process plant.

• Conversant with piping and fitting standards

 GENERAL
• Interpretation of drawings and guiding the contractors to execute the work.
• Ensure that the work is carried out as per standards, drawings, maintaining quality
• Safety.
• Make necessary QC documents.
• Supervise the work and give necessary clarifications to contractors as required.
• Make day-to-day planning and monitor the progress at site.
• Arrange stage wise inspection as required and get clearance from competent authority.
• Scrutinize contractor’s bills and submit to Site In charge.
• Maintaining history sheets for fabrication, erection and Welding of all lines.
• Following piping standards for fabrication, erection and Welding of all lines.
• Preparation of Test Packs as per standards and pressure.
• After completing erection of all pipe line, performing out pressure tests (Either Pneumatic or Hydraulic) as per testing schedule.
• Chemical cleaning, Insulation and Final painting of pipes.

 MATERIAL HANDLING
• Receiving and storing material like pressure vessels, CS and SS Pipes, Structural Material,
• Warm and Cold Valves etc for construction of Air Separation Plants.
• Inspecting material, equipment and machinery, which were received at site.

 EQUIPMENT & MACHINERY ERECTION & ALIGNMENT
• Checking of Civil Foundations as per drawings for erection of heavy equipment and Machinery.
• Making arrangements for erection like checking orientation, preparing lifting beams if required and Preparation of documents as per ISO.
• Erection of heavy pressure vessels like Air water tower, Nitrogen water tower, Adsorbers, MP Column, LP Column, Argon Columns, Main Exchanger, LOX tank, LAR Tank, GOX Tank etc.
• Erection of Machinery like Air Compressors, Booster Compressor, Expansion Turbine and Pumps.
• Alignment of equipment and Machinery, which were erected on civil foundations for grouting and further piping.

From June 2005, working with AIR LIQUIDE ENGG INDIA (P) LTD, Hyderabad as an Piping Engineer in Piping and Layout Department to November 2007.

From July 2000 To April 2002 Worked with SOUTHERN ERECTORS (P) LTD, Chennai as a Junior Engineer in Piping and Erection
