Computer and Communication Engineer

Seeking a position as a Computer and Communication Engineer to contribute my education and engineering skills in a growing and dynamic firm.

National Oilwell Varco/MD totco–Internship: (UAE December 2007)

* Involved in instrumentation and control systems for oil rigs.
* Trained on gage calibration, installation and troubleshooting of different systems, BCS(bloc control system), Rigsense, SRWW(Service Rig Well Watch)

MEAS (Middle East Airports Services): (2006-2007)

* Involved in building services, controlling more than 4,600 points at Beirut International Airport Beirut.
* Administrating a wide network consisting of a server, 12 NCMs (Network Control Module) and around 500 digital controllers DX9100.
* Developed a variety of programs using Johnson Controls DX9100 automating different kinds of equipments (AHUs, Water Softener, Pumps, and Cooling towers).
* Performed several processes using JC-Basic in order to minimize alarms occurrence and to increase system efficiency.




OGERO – Internship: (summer 2005)

* Implemented Telecom platform(PSTN, and computer network, OSI model)
* Applied switching platform: Alcatel Switching platform, configuration of a switch and functionality, routing plan and the numbering plan, Pulse code modulation.
* Applied signaling CCS#7 & signaling messages between switches, difference between the Common Channel Signaling and Channel Associate Signaling.
* Exposed to the installation of an Alcatel switching platform, implementation and operation.

Engineering Lab Assistant: USEK (2002 -2003)

* Develop solutions for all aspects of Lab usage.
* Ensure safety and security in the Lab.
* Implement training courses for the new assistants.
