A professional mechanical engineer with skills and expertise in project & maintenance management spanning 18 years with hands-on & managerial experience in the capacity starting from Management Trainee to Manager at Indian Petrochemicals Corporation (IPCL- An erstwhile Govt of India Enterprise), and as DGM/GM at Reliance Industry (IPCL-RIL , Reliance Group ), India. This covered wide ranging functions of Project Management , involving Bid Doc preparation & evaluation, Scoping (WBS), project planning, post-award technical reviews, work distribution & measurement, execution, monitoring & control for Green field & Brownfield projects, and Trouble-shooting , spares management ,contract management etc under maintenance management.

Sound appreciation of Engineering based on International codes & standards, procurement, Installation, Commissioning, Quality & HSE with statutory approvals. Wide understanding of client’s and contractor’s goals . Implemented ,and practiced quality systems of TQM, ISO 9K-2K ISO 14K, & OHSAS 18K upto certification & compliance .Preparations of Proposal & Project Execution plan & procedures including finer technical clarifications with Licensor & Key Vendors, Order execution on key equipments as Sr Manager (Project Team) at Samsung Engg Co Ltd (SECL), Seoul ,South Korea .

[A] Since Feb2006 : Recently completed, being key Project Team member as Sr Manager(Control Team), a winning proposal for SECL for a 350 KTPA LLD/HD Swing plant Project in India, and presently working as Sr Manager (Packaged Equipments) in HQ based Project Team for a 1000KTPA Ethylene-Naphtha Cracker Project, in Thailand .The work mainly involves handling an about USD 100 Million Package Equipment order on M/s MHI Japan .

[B] 2001- Jan 2006 :As Manager (Engg) took overall charge in Central Design, Modification & Construction Deptt.,and developed a new CAD Centre with 10 high end CAD stations, plotters & various software & new staff. Headed then as DGM .Engineered over 200 In-house Schemes. .

[C] 1999 - 2000 :As Dy Manager (Maint), worked for Gas Cracker plant as in-charge (MM) and implemented many CAPEX Schemes and trouble shooting

[D] 1996-1998 :As Dy Project Manager to PM, worked for Expansion of existing LLD/HD plants (80 KTPA TO 140 KTPA ) on Fast-Track basis.
[E] 1991-1995 :As Sr Project Engineer worked for Design review , construction, comm of Swing plants project LLDPE/HDPE (80KTPA X 2 ;BP Chemicals UK License) (1st in India) & But-1 .

[F] 1989-1991 :As Project Engineer worked for X-country pipelines project.

[G] 1988-1989 As Management Trainee (IPCL).
