Responsibilities
Over all production control from crude oil intake to finished (rundown) quality products: Crude processing targets on the basis of refinery margins as forecasted by simulation software.
Safe and optimized plant operation with quality products
Platformer and Hydrotreater catalysts regeneration: procedure preparation ,operation coordination, catalyst loading/off-loading activities
Process data logging, monitoring and equipments performance analysis
Equipments maintenance need notifications and reviews using SAP
Standby rotating equipments schedule operation checks for reliability assurance
Hydrocarbon Loss Prevention in normal operation as well as in shutdown/start-up activities.
Shift management and liaison
Assistance to operation manger for plant shutdown-startup activities scheduling.
Implementation and follow up of HSE regulations (Work to Permit System, HAZARD Identification, RISK Assessment, Incidents Notification etc.)
Plant change modifications ,PFD,P&ID final recommendation for approval
Test run coordination and verifications for all refinery processes
Process chemical treatment monitoring and inventory control
ACHIEVEMENTS:

Several plant change modifications with smaller investment but major gains
Debottleneck Waste Water Treatment Plant for microbes activity enhancement
Feasibility study for surface condenser with steam ejectors for condensing turbines vacuum recovery
Flare gas recovery system project initialization
Effective operating staff training using MS Power Point presentation in the area of Distillation Process, Waste Water Treatment and Catalyst Regeneration.

High proficiency in MS Office Applications and process simulation software HYSYS. Working with SAP for maintenance reviews and work order notification. Refinery safer optimum plant operation, quality production, performance evaluation, shift management, plant change review and HSEQ rules implementation are key responsibilities. Capable to speak English, Urdu and local languages.
