Twice honoured by the Transported Assets Protection Association (TAPA) for contributions to the association in supply chain regulatory compliance and training. Established a “Greenfield” position of Reg Dir of Compliance and Safety & Sy Risk Mngt. Developed & implemented an “Out of the Box” ISO compliant corporate safety, Sy and Reg compliance, Mngt sys that dovetailed neatly into the corporate “QMS”, utilising QRA, HAZAN/ID, HAZOP Fault/Event tree analysis, ensuring that risk and control measures ALARP. (Agility Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions). Established a “Greenfield” position of Regional Head of Sy EMEA. Defined, developed and implemented an ISO compliant regional compliance, loss prevention/security management strategy, providing architecture / infrastructure, processes and methodology, in accordance with corporate governance, and industry customs regulatory compliance programmes for sy and supply chain risk management. (Panalpina World Transport – Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions)Established a “Greenfield” position of Project Security Advisor. Developed and delivered the project’s “Key Point Pipeline” sy strategy, including all sy policies procedures, risk and business continuity plans, including detailed evacuation and emergency response, kidnap and ransom counter surveillance strategy. Created and delivered a staff awareness programme covering personal safety & Sy and the protection of proprietary information. (Bechtel Ltd – EPC Pipeline Construction)
Designed, developed and implemented a full range of Sy policies and procedures including detailed business continuity and emergency response evacuation plans, to support business core processes of exploration and drilling. Chaired the local branch of the Overseas Security Advisory Council. (ExxonMobil- Oil Field Exploration) Established the “Greenfield” position of “Site Head of Sy”. Produced and implemented “Key Point” security operating policies, and procedures, Developed, managed, motivated a 100 man industrial project sy guard force, moulding them into a model sy team by improving their moral, discipline and reducing staff absence. Key member of the site’s emergency response committee. Incident investigation & analysis utilising QRA, HAZAN/ID, HAZOP Fault/Event Tree analysis ensuring that risk and control measures ALARP (Qatar Petroleum - Oil Field Processing Construction)
