Over 21 years extensive experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, seven years of which in commissioning, start up, operation and maintenance, more than fourteen years on the construction of Industrial plants, Power plants, Petrochemical plants, and Oil / Gas Production Facilities.
Experienced in electrical system design including distribution/production of HV and MV power system, power generation and communication systems.
Experienced in field engineering, constructions, installations, inspections, testing, commissioning and start up of electrical equipments and systems.
Thorough knowledge of industry codes and standard such as NEC, NEMA, IEC, IEEE, ISO, Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, SCECO Standards, KJO Specifications, Gasco General Design Specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications and others.
Capability of developing design packages covering various aspects of oil and gas production and processing plants for new and existing electrical installations including technical scope of work, bill of quantities, equipment specification, engineering drawings, electrical one-line and wiring diagrams, control schematics, grounding layout, cable & conduit schedules and etc.
Able to interpret, analyze, upgrade and modify protection scheme and control circuitry involving Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgears including MCC’s.
Excellent communication skills with ability to produce well comprehensive and concise input to technical documents.
Knowledgeable on Instrumentation, Telecommunication, Cathodic Protection System and HVAC system.

Additional Information
Prepare electrical design packages that include design drawings and material take-offs. Design package may include MV & LV system modification, grounding, UPS systems, lighting, switchgears, motor control centers transformers, breakers, AC motors, transfer switches and standby generators.
Conduct field survey and prepare conceptual design packages and engineering specification and provide support in developing scope of work definition and clarification.
Handling from inception to completion of Electrical projects particularly to the oil and gas production facilities including, but not limited to the installation of new switchgears, power transformers, , motor control centers, electric motors, generators, switch racks, panel boards, uninterruptible power supply, neutral earthing resistors, batteries & chargers, cable ladder & trays, cable trenches, cable ducts, cable splicing and terminations, lighting system, lightning protection system, cathodic protection system, communication system, building management system and security system.
Monitor field construction activities to ensure design requirements are met and in compliance with drawings, specifications and standard.
Site design modification, drawing field changes, issuance of field engineering instructions, review and comments on material submittals, answer to technical queries and develop red marked drawings and As-Built drawings.
