Responsibilities
• The Down Stream activities group responsible for pipeline connecting the different wells to Gas gathering Station (GGS) and from GGS to City Gate Station (CGS) and for setting up Gas Gathering Station (GGS).
• Planning, Designing, monitoring, expediting of construction activities of Down Stream activities of CBM projects.
• Liasioning with Govt. Authorities (CCOE, DGMS, AMC).
• Design finalization of Gas gathering stations, City Gate station and inter connecting MDPE and Steel Pipeline.
. CNG Compressor Ercetion and Comissioning, designing etc.
• Design, preparation of tenders and procurement of MDPE, Steel pipeline, Valves Cascades and related equipment.
• Co-ordinating the preparation and finalization DFR for city gas distribution for the city of Asansol, Durgapur and Burdwan.
• Expediting with vendors for timely delivery of equipments.
• Approval of Design & drawing from CCOE, Nagpur.
• Achieving Top line plan of the Senior Management and implementation of plan of action with preparation of budgets for various field operations.
• Check Inspection test plan (ITP) and give the approval.
• Hydro-test witness and final approval at site.
• Random Checking of NDT (Radiography films).
• Reviewed and meeting with consultant.

On Training they gave us very useful knowledge about the compressor, filter, cascade,
Dispenser etc and what safety factor we have to think at the time of designing and how
to make our system best. They also gave the knowledge of how Liquefied Natural Gas
(LNG) Is using for the CNG system.
2.Conference on Corrosion by NACE International-CORCON 2004, Delhi from 2nd
to 4th December 2004:
The conference gave us an overview of various aspects of pipeline and its corrosion,
Coating and discussed different type of case study.
3.Training on Pipeline Corrosion by NACE International India Section at Mumbai
from 16th to 18th May, 2005:
The Course gave us an overview of various aspects of pipeline corrosion of importance
to pipeline engineers like us.
