Civil Inspector The main objective is to promote/check the quality standard required for the specific projects and the execution during construction shall be as per the agreement on, contract specifications and drawings. Review construction drawings and evaluate if it is conforming on the standards/specifications, facilitate testing requirements as per standards during construction, introduce a preventive/pro-active measures prior to execution of work, provide solutions to the problems that may arise during the construction of project. Prepare Method Statements for a certain activities usually required for Quality personnel. Prepare Technical submittals such as work procedure, Materials Approvals and correspondence required prior to execution of projects. Attend periodic progress meetings, Quality assurance meetings to discuss any proactive and preventive measures to maintain a smooth execution of scheduled activities. Coordinate with other personnel in-charge for Electrical works, Communication Works and others to prevent unnecessary back job due to lack of communication with other contractors. In charge of all site approvals for any expenditure during construction which includes material procurements, equipment rentals and man power requirements. Part of being an Engineer in the office/field is to give an actual input of cost of project and compared to projected value in order to have a financial guidelines for the project expenses. Prepare proposals for any variations/change of work that are not included scope. Review redline drawings or update any changes that may occur and make a presentation with client to provide a technical information which will cause an advantage or may be have a negative impact on the project. Facilitate Final walkthrough inspection with client and consultants. For frame structure buildings, OHWT, High Rise Buildings, Schools, Houses, Villas by Eden Builders.
