• Conduct hazardous area equipment inspections and servicing
• Recommissioning of systems after Major overhauls

• Provide planned and breakdown electrical maintenance to mine equipment and land based drill rigs
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly checks to ensure equipment reliability and personnel safety.
• Carry out new installations and modifications as required to Australian, specific site and Mining Department standards

• W.A 'A' class Electrical Workers License.
• Member of NATA: Approved signatory for certification of hazardous area machines.
• (Exd, Exe, Exn, DIP)
• Riggers ticket.
• Dogging, Forklift and Elevated Work Platform Tickets.
• Confined Space Certificate.
• HV Switching Certificate.
• Chevron Permit to work trained (Responsible operator and HV responsible Supervisor)
• Mechanical Drafting (CAD A, CAD B, CAD 3D)
• Competency certificate in Overhaul of Hazardous area Machines.
• Currently Studying Mechanical Engineering (Dip.) Part time.
• 7 years Equivalent practical experience in instrumentation
• Competency certificate in the JHA Process, ‘Conducting Local Risk Assessments’
