• As a environmental specilaist establishes Environmental Management System conforming to ISO: 14000 EMS and fulfilling process operational requirements.
• Study the statutory environmental pollution requirements of the Kuwait Government, and verify and confirm effluents are below these norms.
• Alternately suggest recommendation for complying with the regulatory guidelines.
• Handle laboratory administration in the absence of the Head.
• Test various samples as per the test procedures (APHA, ASTM, US EPA, SW 846 etc).
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and system.
• Monitor and ensure onsite Job Safety Procedures are followed as per OSHA Standards.
• Establish laboratory Standard Operating Procedures.
• Collect data and report to the management.
• Control inventory of the complete department.
• Attend, identify problems and resolve customer complaints to the entire satisfaction of customers.
• Establish customer driven test procedures in test laboratory.
• Conduct in-house awareness and internal auditor's training programs for the employees including management staff and workers on Environmental management system.
• Impart, QM - SAP training to employees.
• Investigate and examine the workplace for hazards and potential dangers.
• Conducts scientific research to provide data on possible harmful conditions in the workplace.
• Recommends in improving the safety of workers and surrounding community.
 Performed analysis of samples for BTEX, sVOC's, PAH, PCB's, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH), Herbicides, Pesticides,DRO,GRO,RRO and Trace Metals for wastewater and solid waste samples, effluent samples etc. as per the test procedures of APHA, ASTM and US EPA-SW846 test procedures. Performed analysis of Gas Samples for C1 to C8 Hydrocarbon.
 Testing of Raw material, in process samples, finished goods, stability samples etc. DM water.
 Testing of Oil samples for BS&W, Viscosity, Salt Content etc.
 Imparted Training/Instruction to juniors pertaining different tests methods and Instrumental Techniques.
 Analytical method development, calibration of instruments, analytical method validation, reporting, QA/QC.
 Trouble shooting of Instruments.
