Marine Mechanical Engineer/ Process Engineer

Process Engineer Onboard W.T.S.V. (Well Test & Services Vessel) Supervising the crew alongside the Offshore Manager during loading, processing & monitoring, chemical analysis and discharge of cargo.

Maintenance and operation of cargo pumping system inert gas plant, thermal oil boiler and ancillary services.
Operation of automated control system within the plant control room and responsible for all cargo movements and process control functions within the same system.
Responsible for the safety of the process plant which involves, monitoring of tank atmospheres for Oxygen content, toxic gas content (Hydrogen Sulfide) and hydrocarbon gases, performing planned maintenance and breakdown and prevention maintenance.
Reporting directly to the offshore manager I am responsible for the routine repair and maintenance of the process plant and implementation of any modifications required.
When required working as mechanical maintenance engineer. Responsible for maintenance and safe operation of all onboard systems. Principally the main propulsion plant and associated systems, electrical generation for vessel services. Hotel services – black & grey water, refrigeration, Potable water, Processing and disposal of waste oil. Serving on both watchkeeping and U.M.S (D.P 2 Class) vessels.
