Operations Manager, in charge of two seismic subsahara crews, oil exploration

Due to my long time experience I am able to manage any aspect of a multinational / International company

Extensive 2D and 3D seismic land experience since 1976 at Petty Ray Geophysical which later became Geosource and later on AGESCO as Junior Observer, Observer, Senior Observer, Instrument Supervisor, Party Manager , Operations Party Chief , Operations Supervisor / Operations Manager. World-wide experience in various types of terrain and environments including wide experience with bulldozers and graders in desert and jungle.

Proven ability in personnel management, tender preparation, supervision of field operations and data quality control, assisting Clients (if required) in their project planning for land 2D and 3D surveys including parameter selection and a good rapport with Local Authorities, Clients and Contractors. A very highly self motivated individual with hands on experience and a believer that quality starts with safe and sound practices in the field.

Worked and familiar with various types of recorders such as DFSIII, DFSIV, MDS10, MDS16, MDS18, SERCEL 388, 368, 388 and 408CMXL, Vibrator Electronics SERCEL VE 432, most testing equipment, surveying systems and many types of energy sources such as Vibroseis, Weight Drop, explosives surface and shot holes. Air gun(marine).
Part of my duties are tender preparations, acquiring contracts, dealing with clients, dealing with local authorities, making absolutely sure that HSE is kept at high standards through out the company.
