Lab Manager

Manage and supervise laboratory as aquality control department to achieve company objectives

•Stablished SEGAS and QATARGAS Laboratories as a new Lab and preparing Lab
procedures required for analysis.
•Commission lab equipment and lab information management system LIMS.
•Preparing and implement annual Lab objectives.
•Evaluate sub-ordinate lab staff for annual apprisal
•Implement, Supervise and follow up Lab working policy.
•Preparing Capital and operating Lab budget.
•Supervise LNG analysis, prepare and approved LNG certificate of quality after
completing the loading.
•Reporting Lab results to the concerned departments and giving advise
(corrective action ) for the off spec result, if any.
•Supervise the analysis of all types of hydrocarbon gas mixture(e.g. Natural,
associated and Acid gases) and LNG, NGL, LPG, Light Condensate and High
pressure condensate by gas chromatography as per their corresponding
international standard test methods ASTM/GPA etc.
•Supervise the analysis of petroleum products ranging from light Naphtha
fraction to lubricating oils, applying the international standard test
methods, ASTM, IP, UOP , ISO,….etc.
•Supervise and analysis of different types of water, boiler water, boiler feed
water, steam, cooling water, waste water, drinking water, using wide range of
sophisticated equipments such as atomic absorption, UV - visible, etc.
according to ASTM and APHA methods.
•Analysis of Molten and Granulated Sulphur products, according to SNEA, R.M.P,
Furman & Scott standard methods.
•Supervise the analysis required for the start-up and the performance tests.
•Supervise and implement the safety regulations in Lab.
•Supervise and perform the analysis required for the calibrations of lab
equipment.
•Supervise and perform the analysis required for environmental samples.
•Preparing laboratory monthly report.
•Responsible for data review and Lab specialists training.
•Responsible for instruments maintenance and calibration.
•Develop and validate analytical methods.
•Responsible about Lab information management System StarLIMS.
•Internal auditor refer to ISO 9001/2000
