Working as HSE Engineer in Cape East Ltd, Qatar (www.cape.ae) at Ras Laffan, which is one of the largest exporters of LNG in the world. Cape East Ltd is a world leader in Scaffolding design and erection, Cryogenic/Thermal insulation activities, Passive fire protection services, Refractory works, Abrasive Blasting, Painting etc having reputed clients in Oil and Gas Industries.

Job Responsibilities and key functions include:
Regional HSE Engineer of Cape East Ltd for Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC). Overall in charge of HSE activities in the RLIC area. Reported to by a team of 14 safety officers of each maintenance/project/shut down site.
• Direct liaison with clients to develop, implement and execute jobs in harmonization with relevant best practices in the industry. Familiarization in procedures and reporting system.
• Well versed in oil and gas construction / maintenance projects with highly reputed safety standards.
• Planning and executing shut down jobs with appropriate safety precautions and having excellent records in oil and gas industry.
• Preparing and implementation of project HSE plan from incipient stage with highly reputed safety standards in selected fields of activity.
• Implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) strictly in the work area with strict adherence to British Safety standards in each and every operation of the site.
• Day to day monitoring of safety activities at the site. Educating mangers/workers through tool box talks, safety meeting &safety seminars.
• Promote an understanding with all management and supervision that injury prevention, occupational hygiene and damage control are not only cost effective but are also an integral part of the business and operational efficiency of the company.
• Implementation of Risk Assessment ,COSHH Assessment, Job Freeze Audit, Accident /Incident Investigation and Analysis in entire operations of the site.
