My main specializations and experience include Quality Control and Inspections in the area of electrical and instrumentation, mostly in the oil and gas industry. I have worked on oil rigs in the Middle East, Azerbaijan and Russia. Other skills and experience include quality assessment and reporting, and maintenance and repairs.

ELECTRICAL:
High Voltage/Low Voltage Switchgear, HV/LV Switchboards, HV/LV Transformers, HV/LV
Cables and UPS Systems, Power Systems, Installation in Hazardous Areas.
INSTRUMENTATION:
Fire and Gas Systems, Telecoms, Public Address Systems, Process Systems as well as
calibration of instruments.
QA/QC:
Inspection of electrical / mechanical / instrumentation equipment; compiling Quality Control Reports leading to allow final release of equipment from the Vendor. Inspection surveys of electrical / instrumentation equipment in hazardous areas and Inspection of support structures, including main and field supports, welding of ladder rack and cable tray offsets and modifications.

My responsibilities include Quality Control and Inspection of electrical equipment and instrumentation on Saudi Aramco’s oil rigs/platforms in Dubai. I am also involved in the commissioning of electrical equipment as well as compliance auditing and reporting against Client specifications. I am also responsible for ensuring that corrective actions are taken to manage any non-compliances.
