Drilling engineer

1. From July 2006 – Now Drilling Engineer for PVEP –ALGER.
-Responsible for technical details for well cost estimates and drilling / completions composites for an exploratory drilling campaign for nines (9) HTHP wells in Block 433a and 416b onshore block in Algeria (BRS–6, BRS-7, BRS-8, BRS-9, BRS - 10 and HBHJ-1, HBRO-1, MOM – 3, MOM - 4).-Liaise with Sonatrach and Algeria governmental departments for submission of all required permits, approvals and related documents necessary for drilling campaign.-Responsible for the implementation of Oil Spill Plan, HSE Manual, Emergency Response Plan, etc., for the Company.-Responsible for and assist in compiling technical specifications for tender distribution as related to an onshore drilling operations.-Assist in technical and commercial bid evaluations, contract terms & conditions negotiations and recommend contract award.-Prepare completion programme for three wells in Algeria’s project.-Directly oversee daily operations of drilling rig operations for well HBRO-1, MOM -3 service companies to support Drilling Manager.

2. From July 2000- July 2006: working for PIDC as Drilling Engineer.-Responsible for technical details for well cost estimates and drilling / completions composites for an exploratory drilling campaign for two (2) well in Block 103,107, North of Bac Bo Basin offshore Vietnam.-Responsible for the implementation of Oil Spill Plan, HSE Manual, Emergency Response Plan, etc., for the Company.- Responsible for reviewing and technically approve well programs, drilling & completions procedures, and oversee drilling operations.

- Diploma In Petroleum Engineering: Ha noi University of Mining and Geology, Hanoi, VietnamFrom 1996-2000.

Technical and HSE-Wellhead and Subsea system equipment presented by ABB Vetco 2005– 1 week.
- Well control for second line supervisor held by PVMC 2004– 1 week.
- An Introduction to drilling equipment and practices held by Transocean associates 2004– 1 week.
- Advanced Drilling and Production held by BP in HaNoi 2004- 01 weeks.- Completed the course of offshore safety & sea survival – 3 day.
- Well plan/Drilling Office Schlumberger Ha Noi Viet Nam.Language Course:
- Writing and Presentation Skill by Australian Languages Center - completed.Computer skill
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Access, Lotus and Microsoft Project, Micrsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer….
- “Stress check” for casing design fluently, Drilling Office softwares for well planning. I have my own software in Excel for Casing design and other designs.
