Since July 2005: IT & Comms Engineer (Information Technology & Communications) at BRITISH PETROLEUM-SONATRACH-STATOIL Joint Venture in the In Amenas Gas Project (Sahara of Algeria) to provide Desktop, Applications and Telecoms support services in charge of the following tasks:
IT:
- Support of final user :
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintenance of systems, software and applications.
• Installing and testing computer hardware.
• Add and remove terminals and other equipments.
• Tracing, identify and resolve system and equipment malfunctions.
• Inventorying computer equipment and maintaining computerized inventory system.
• Ordering and keeping track of computer supplies.
• Assisting in deploying Help Desk, including software selection and development of procedures.
• Providing desktop support for software, printing and network access issues.
• Training others in the use of computer hardware and software (Office, etc.)
• Developing procedures and training users in electronic data transfer between applications.
- Windows Environment 2000 and 2003 Server
• Network support:
Configuration, administration and maintenance (IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS)
• Active Directory:
Configuration, administration and management of network resources and clients.
• Management and saving of data and systems.
- Windows 2000/2003 Exchange Infrastructure:

Communication:
- Architecture, installation and maintenance of computer and telephone networks.
- October 2004 to May 2005: Supervisor of installation and system start up of GSM Networks at SEDOTEL telecommunication company subcontracting with ORASCOM TELECOM ALGERIA (OTA) and ALCATEL at Algiers (Algeria) in charge of the following tasks:
- Assembling, cabling and parameterization of multiplexers ADM of ALCATEL
(Add and Drop Multiplexer).
- Establishing GSM links: SDH, PDH & PAV (assembling, cabling, parameterization, checking, commissioning and start up)
- Good knowledge of FH, BTS, Micro BTS, etc.

1998: Baccalaureate (High School) in Exact Sciences.
2004: Engineer Degree in Computer Sciences, Software option, from Houari Boumediene University of Sciences and Technology (USTHB), Algiers (Algeria).
- Studies’ Project: a comparative study of two localization approaches of mobile agents in Ad Hoc mobile networks: Reactive vs. Proactive protocol.
2007: Senior Technician in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) from the Prevention Organism of Professional Risks (OPRP), Algiers.
